My daughter made an instrument some years ago. She took a small cardboard box and fixed some rubberbands with scotch on it, and this is how it sounded. She called it spelatronics. It no longer exists, unfortunately. But it can be remade.

Horse racing: a girl wearing a tap-dancing shoe ran on a wooden board, tapping her instep and heel at different moments to look like a galloping horse. Horseshoe sound as it runs. Recorded with a shotgun shure vp89 microphone, behringer u-phoria umc404hd sound card, in adobe audition. The sound was produced in a foley class with the intention of making some sound from the tap shoes. The audio was recorded in the foley classroom of the multimedia course at ort brazil school.

Recorded indoors on my blue snowball. A trick taught to me by a foley artist, it is the rattling of a tissue box to make the sound of a helicopter.

Heavy rain from inside a building. The irregular pattern of the sound and it being muffled lends itself to sounding like a rainstorm hitting the side of a building.

Description of collection :dji mavic mini 2 sounds. Recorded on a zoom h5 stock xy mic. No editing not even normalizing, just chopped up segments in audacity. I apologise some recordings may have footsteps sounds, and remote blips (maybe the latter is good and more authentic). Mic may have been places either pointing left-right, or up-down, or both pointing up. Microphone wasn't on the floor, but set on a bench. Recorded indoor. Vintage typewriter, olympia of 1956, inserting paper, adjusting, typing words and senetences with two finger push search system. At the end the sheet is pulled out of the machine. Sound is self created and recorded with "tascam dr-05". Original use in projekt "akte 12" (file 12). Alte schreibmaschine, eine olympia von 1956. Es werden das blatt eingeführt und justiert, ganze worte und sätze im zwei-finger-tast-suchsystem geschrieben. Am ende wird das blatt mit der hand aus der maschine gezogen. Geräusch selbst erzeugt und aufgenommen mit "tascam dr-05". Ursprüngliche verwendung im projekt "akte 12".

A writer types various text sequences and vintage music plays in background. All set to have been done in 1967. A collection of short clips so no copyright infringements on the music titles. Last sequence is writer stopping pulling out the paper and throwing it away. Ein schreiber tippt verschiedene texte, im hintergrund läuft musik aus dem jahre 1967. Sammlung kurzer tonschnippsel daher keine urheberrechtsverletzung wegen der musikstücke. Letztes tonsegment ist der schreiber der sein blatt aus der maschine nimmt, zerknüllt und wegwirft.
